Jydge Review

JYDGE is a top down twin stick shooter which I can only explain as it is based loosely

on the JUDGE DREED movie where you get to take control of your JYDGE and up hold the law.

Story.

Build your JYDGE. Enter Edenburg. Get out Alive.  JYDGE is a lawful but awful rouge top-down shooter where you get to build your own cybernetic JYDGE and eradicate crime in the never-sleeping megacity of Edenburg.

Gameplay.

Controlling your JYDGE in the game can’t be a little bit infuriating at first due to the one

stick to move the character one stick to aim and another one to shoot, along with the use of

special weapons from upgrades and completing some levels can be a pain like if you accidentally kill a hostage you will have to restart that level again as you progress through the game, you can unlock upgrades which in turn can add you greatly in finishing the level challenges.

Presentation.

JYDGE is a top down twin stick shooter that really make you think about all the different ways you can tackle the mission to take down the bad guys, the graphics really put me in that arcade mood and the sound effects that have been used for this all work in really well together, this also makes me think a lot of JUDGE DREED as well cause the Jydge design I can only guess is taken from the films, I say they have done them proud with this game.

Final Take.

Jydge is a take your time and think about how you will do the missions top down twin stick shooter where you take the law straight to crime in the megacity of Edenbyrg with your own cybernetic JYDGE where you can kick ass and take names later.
