Have you ever wanted to take control of your own Colony? Well in Aven Colony you are given the option to do so. In Aven Colony. In Aven Colony you have roughly nine different levels to play through. The levels aren’t all the same and set up differently with certain resources close to your colony in the beginning of the level and sometimes they can be far. Your job is to build up your colony to a certain point that the mission requires you to get to. However, on your journey up to that point there are many things you must watch out for.

GAMEPLAY

Like we were talking previously there are many dangers and things you must keep your eyes open for. The danger you must watch out for are Creep Spores, Infections, Storage, Power, Nanites, Citizens morality, Air Ventilations, including food and water supplies. Creep Spores try to infect your buildings with viruses. If your colony has Plasma Turrets you can destroy them before they hit your colony. However, if you don’t have Plasma Turrets ready, they will go in your colony and start infecting people and killing them off. If your colony does get infected you will want scrubber drones. I would get them to tier 3 so they you can stop the infection ASAP. Sometimes you can’t stop the infection with scrubber drones. The next thing you can do is build a hospital which will slow the infection speed and eventually kill it off. You will want to keep your O2 levels well taken care of or else it can lower your citizens morality. Power isn’t that hard to keep control of just make sure you always have enough power before building a certain building. Nanites are what you use to build buildings. You can build a Nanite processor and make more Nanites if you are mining Iron, Copper, or making Kelko Sludge. To take care of your citizens morality just make sure they have enough water supply from Water Pumps or Atmospheric Condensor, food from farms or greenhouses by making sure there jobs are connected with tunnels, safety with police drones, building service-related structures or by building mega-structures.

OVERALL REVIEW:

The game overall is a pretty solid strategy management game. I would give the game a 8/10. Only reason I say that is because of the citizens morality is a bit crazy and the game doesn’t have many levels worth $29.99. If they decide the update the game with more levels than that’s fine but the base game doesn’t have much to offer. If you are good at these types of games the achievements will take roughly 12-18 hours to get.
